UK Black History Month is over, but we'll continue to tell our stories 365 days of the year. February marks the start of Black History Month in the United States, Canada and Germany, while here in the UK it’s the start of LGBT+ history month. So, join us in celebrating the lives of remarkable Britons from the UK’s hidden black past.

October 2022 was International Black History Month in the UK and our theme was 'Sharing Journeys' - an exploration of the lives and stories of the people who came to Britain in the 19th and 20th centuries and helped laid the foundations of today's diverse Black British Community.
