Black History Month UK is about encouraging you to discover and celebrate Black people who have helped shape the history and culture of the UK.

Volunteer Roles
Researchers
We're looking for individuals interested in Black British history to help source information for features and biographies on our website and social media channels. Click here for job description.
Writers
We're looking for writers interested in feature writing or copywriting for social media channels or writing opinion pieces on current topics. Click here for job description.
Graphic Designers
We need designers to assist in the production of promotional materials for our website, social media channels, and events. Click here for job description.
Sub-editors
We desperately need someone to help with reviewing and sub-editing articles on our website, and to help with reviewing content for our social media channels.
Photographers
We looking for volunteers to take photographs and videos for our website and promotional material.
Social Media Assistant
We looking for someone to help manage our tik tok social media channel and to build relationships with influencers.
Events Assistants
We are looking for individuals to help us organise events for our events and campaigns programme for 2024/5.
Admin and Team Scheduler
We're looking for someone to carry out general admin duties and to manage team diaries. No experience required but a commitment to work six hours a week.
